CQ Communications, Inc. has been proudly serving the "radio" community for the past 31 years. We offer a vast array of amateur and shortwave listening products including magazine, books, cds, dvds and calendars.

In addition, our flagship magazine, CQ Amateur Radio, sponsors a wide range of operating awards and on-air contests. Visit its web site for more details www.cq-amateur-radio.com. CQ Amateur Radio is the world's leading independent magazine devoted to amateur radio. For more than 65 years, CQ has been on ham radio's leading edge -- the first to promote mobile operating (in the 1950s), semiconductors (in the 1960s) and packet radio -- the original e-mail (in the 1980s). The amateur satellite program got its start with an idea in the pages of CQ!

CQ Communications, Inc, also publishes the following companion magazines for the radio hobbyist:

CQ VHF is a quarterly magazine dedicated to “Ham Radio Above 50 MHz.” The magazine focuses on all aspects of VHF and UHF amateur radio. Its technical content is aimed primarily at the experienced VHFer, although there is also plenty of material appropriate for the new ham. Originally published as a monthly for four years from 1996-1999, CQ VHF returned as a quarterly in the spring of 2002, in response to ongoing reader demand.

Popular Communications - The #1 magazine in the field of general hobby radio, Popular Communications covers short-wave listening ("world-band radio"), broadcast-band DXing (listening for faraway AM, FM & TV broadcast stations), scanning public service and other VHF/UHF frequencies, amateur radio, citizens band (CB), emergency communications, satellites, monitoring clandestine and pirate stations, and more. Popular Communications has been published since 1982.

WorldRadio Online – is the first major ham radio magazine to be published in an online-only format. Published in print since 1971, WorldRadio was purchased by CQ Communications in 2008 and began publication as an online-only magazine as of the February, 2009, issue. WorldRadio Online is a general interest ham magazine with a special focus on the human side of amateur radio and on projects and activities accessible to the average ham.
